Just as the bustle of the holidays is coming closer to our lives, the need for a genial drink is certainly appealing. Then It was a galore of appreciation by so many citizens when Applebee’s announce $1 Long Island Iced Teas for the entire month of December, which they’re calling Dollar LIT and in a press release by president of beverage innovation Applebee’s Patrick Kirk said “The Dollar L.I.T. is kind to your pocket book and a great drink to share with old friends and new ones this holiday season.” this “fan-favorite cocktail” contains “a delicious new mix of vodka, rum, gin, tequila, triple sec and sweet & sour mix with a splash of cola.” As someone who spent an oddly sizable amount of time watching her roommate sing yacht-rock karaoke at the Clearwater, Florida Applebee’s, this promotion seems very consistent with the Applebee’s experience.
However it pertinent for restaurants to let novice know how alcoholic is this stunning drink and not to only advertising the drink with sign on their doors, but they should also but also mount a sign that will signify that there are potential diner that has been indulging in $1 Long Island Iced Teas, because I’m unable to tell you the result concerning the few times that I’ve seen people ordering $1 Long Island Iced Teas, without caution.
However as beverage innovation Applebee’s shared the unsurprising news in a statement given to Buzzfeed food that: “The Long Island Iced Tea is one of our top five bestselling cocktails and depending on the time of year — our top selling one.” So, it makes sense that the Long Island Iced Tea would be their dollar menu drink of choice — it’s L.I.I.T., after all.” thus after the last month’s dollar menu margarita, it’s crystal clear that Applebee’s are trying to brew-up top notch thing for the holidays.
Who knows maybe Applebee’s will consider featuring a dollar-menu mocktail that likely will help many people feel better for actions that may have occurred during this month’s $1 Long Island Iced Tea promotion. As I’m super thankful that Applebee’s give allow us to get $1 Long Island Iced Teas all December because it’s the sort of Christmas present we’re not really expecting from Applebee’s.
